Today we are back for a Step by Step... But CHROME EDITION! - I know, super exciting!! So, if you're looking to perfect that shine, you are in the right place! Let's get started...
Step 1: The base
Once you have done your normal nail prep work, created your extension or prepped the natural nail you need to Base Coat and then choose your base colour! For this look we have used a sheer shade, Elise. Paint 2 coats of your chosen shade, cure between layers and then follow up with a coat of Non-Wipe Top Coat. Then cure!
Step 2: Buff
You will need to buff the entire surface of the nail with a buffer file to remove the shine. This is one of the most important steps, as the chrome will stick to any shine, and we want our chrome designs to be as sharp, and tidy as possible. Once you have buffed the shine away, clean the nail with Prep & Scrub!
Step 3: The Design
For this look we have chosen a Star Design! We recommend using our Black Gel Polish, paint on your chosen design and then cure for 30 Secs.
Step 4: Application
Rub your chrome into your design, remember a little bit goes a long way! Once you are happy with the overall look of your chrome, you can begin to gently dust off the excess.
Step 5: Seal the deal!
We have a top tip for you for this step, instead of just top coating your chrome creation, put a layer of Base Coat across the nail, cure for 30 seconds and then apply your chosen Top coat. This helps keep the chrome all sealed in and prevents it fading! Letting the shiny set you have created to last through the everyday wear and tear.
